Welcome to bRAM's Bettas
Thank you for visiting my beloved website, dedicated to the Siamese fighting fish - more commonly known as the betta. I am a betta breeder based in the north east of England. My primary goal with this website is to share my knowledge and experience with all my visitors so we can all fully appreciate these beautiful tropical fish. From time to time, I also offer you the oppertunity to purchase some of my UK home bred bettas, so stay tuned peeps!
From here you can peruse my current betta stock, or maybe see which of my bettas are currently spawning. I am hoping to steadily increase this website to create a hub for all things to do with our aquatic friends. Information like their everyday behaviour, my ever improving spawning methods, favoured foods and equipment - all just a mouse click away!
The highlight of this website is my spawning diary - giving detailed and up-to-date entries of all my betta spawning activities, now complete with betta videos! Not only can you read up on the day to day activities, but now watch videos from that particular spawn - giving you a more visual idea of how fascinating these fish really are!
'What is so amazing about these bettas?' I hear you ask. Well, putting aside their ever expanding colours and tail variations, these aquatic critters are just a pure joy to own... They will welcome you every time you enter the room, swim to the top when food is on its way (even jump!), and their individual characteristics - you can never own two bettas with the same personality (you just have to read my spawning diary to see that!). Give one a chance - trust me when I say you will be hooked!
